ਛੇਤੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਮੰਗ
ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ :ਮੇਅਰ ਪੈਟਰਿਕ ਬ੍ਰਾਊਨ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਖਬਰ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਗੋਰ ਆਰਡੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਈਬੇਨੇਜ਼ਰ ਆਰਡੀ ਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਸਮੇਸ਼ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਗ੍ਰੰਥਾਂ ਦੀ "ਬੇਅਦਬੀ" ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।

ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੂਚਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ 2 ਦਸੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀਬ੍ਰਾਊਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਪੀਲ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਵੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ। “ਮੈਂ ਉਮੀਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜਾ ਦਵਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਵਾਬਦੇਹ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
We have gotten reports from residents that someone took sacred Sikh Scriptures from Gurudwara Dasmesh Darbar and desecrated them. We have asked @PeelPolice to look into this matter immediately. I hope those responsible are brought to justice and held accountable. @iHarkiratSingh

ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਵੇਰਵਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ 'ਤੇ ਟਿੱਪਣੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ ਦੇ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਕਮਲ ਖੇੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਐਮਪੀਪੀ ਅਮਰਜੋਤ ਸੰਧੂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ “ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ” ਅਤੇ “ਦੁਖਦਾਈ” ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਖੇੜਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ ਦੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਸਮੇਸ਼ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਵਾਪਰੀ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁਖੀ ਹੋਏ,” ਖੇੜਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ। "ਸਾਡੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੇ ਵਿਵਹਾਰ ਦਾ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਸਥਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ।
